2) It should have been detachable filter which makes that easy to clean.
3) It's filter holes are little large.

Cord is of sufficient length as it should be for a kettle. Dont understand why people look for long cord for electric kettle as they should understand it's kettle not an iron.
Auto cut system is really good.
Warms water very quickly.

Good performance. The lid has got the perfect control which means it doesn't close until we want it o be close, which is a great feature.
Cord length is less, but I have managed to get it right. Have got less sound while boiling. Have to pour water till the given max mark, else it can reach to the brim while boiling and cause unnecessary accidents.
This is the perfect kettle. Have used three other kettles from various brands in the past and this is just perfect. After much research, happy to have found this now.

Honestly. Why do people go for cheap kettles? Everyone keeps going on and on about "Make in India!!!" but nobody really wants to support Indian industry. The cheap kettles are bad in quality, break down easily due to cost cutting, and are made in China.
Havells is an Indian brand, and they make genuinely good products. Like this very kettle. For some reason, they managed to do something that I have never, ever seen any other kettle manufacturer do (atleast the kettles I've had the personal 'pleasure' of using): They managed to separate the kettle from the damn cable. This has simplified my mornings so much, you would not believe. It is easy, to refill the kettle directly from the water dispenser. It is easy, to empty the kettle out. The wire never gets in the way, and the convenience of being able to pick it up and set it down just as easily is something I never expected would actually be so life-changing.
You may not believe me, and that's just as fine, but this product is genuinely worth the money, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone.

Great kettle with no disturbing smells (or any smells) on first few uses like other Kettles I have used. However I did throw away the water the first couple of times and washed the insides thoroughly with soap and warm water to be sure. Build quality seems good as well. Looks good, has auto cut-off, the kettle gets in and out of the base easily. You cannot wash the kettle entirely - the outer portion is not water proof. The cord length is a bit small. No temperature settings. Have used this for a couple of days, no issues so far.

I wasn't sure if this kettle was going to be all that is promised, after having read the reviews. BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Here's why.
1. The cord length is, decent. Imo one doesn't need a huge cord for an electric kettle, specially one which has a portable top. So it suits my kitchen perfectly, just like any other kettle would.
2. The push button to open the lid is really helpful for not burning off your fingers. With a few other kettles, if I need to open the lid to add more water and such, I have to risk scalding my fingers with the steam that comes out the top. In this kettle, the push button makes it idiot proof for people like me.
3. The on/off flip switch has been a decent one to operate. It lights up and since it's not on the handle, I don't press it by mistake when I'm picking the kettle up. Again, idiot proofing max.
4. The steel inside is waay better than the ones on other kettles in the same price range (or slightly cheaper). In my month long experience, I've not had to descale it even once. Just mild scrubbing with dishwash has been enough. Bear in mind tho that the water I use isn't very hard.
5. The cleaning itself is pretty convinient. The inner rim is slightly rounded, so no chance of you flavouring the kettle insides with your blood as you clean it.
6. Even on boiling water to its full capacity, the outside did not and does not become as hot as other buyers have mentioned. If yours does, then it might have a defect. The best way I can describe it is that it becomes hot enough to nicely toast your hands with during Delhi winters. The auto cut off works fine as long as I don't overfill the kettle.
7. Lastly, it looks very cute. Probably the cutest thing in my kitchen. The 2 year warranty is a nice bonus too!
